Il progetto Midnight Sport, iniziato nel 1999, prevede l’apertura di alcune palestre dove i giovani di età compresa tra i 12 e i 17 anni hanno la possibilità di incontrarsi e trascorrere il sabato sera in compagnia dei loro coetanei praticando sport, giocando, ascoltando musica, ballando e divertendosi. L’obiettivo di Midnight Sport è quello di favorire l’integrazione (sociale, tra ragazze e ragazzi, di stranieri ed emarginati), promuovere il movimento e lo sport non competitivo e prevenire atti vandalici, violenza e abuso di sostanze che creano dipendenza. Questo progetto sta avendo un enorme successo e sempre più comuni mettono a disposizione dei giovani le loro strutture. La Fondazione Damiano Tamagni da una paio d’anni finanzia in particolare il progetto SPINTA, Sensibilizzazione Prevenzione INtervento Tolleranza Animazione. Si tratta di un progetto di prossimità giovanile tra pari nello spazio pubblico. Grazie al sostegno della Fondazione Damiano Tamagni nel 2009 è stata realizzata una rampa, dedicata a Damiano. Negli anni seguenti la Fondazione ha deciso di rinnovare il suo aiuto alla promozione di uno sport sano e molto in voga fra i giovani.
